When I saw these beautiful snakes made of Turquoise, I fell in love immediately. During Christian times 'the snake' is mentioned in the Holy Bible, from the actual point of view no best PR for its species. During Antiquity snakes were playing an important role in mythology, like being the guardian of the underworld, the symbol of the religious connection to the depth of Earth. Their regularly slipping into new skins was a symbol for rebirth, endless youth and Immortality. Wearing my WHERE IS THE APPLE earrings is a bit like slipping into a new skin!
Turquoise and all treasures of the sea, such as Coral, Mother of Pearl, all kind of Pearls, Amber, Conch and Corniola, have to be protected from cosmetic, hairspray, soap, perfume, acid and extreme sun exposures. It can be cleaned under running lukewarm water with a very soft towel (please don't use microfiber). To avoid scratches please store jewels always separated from each other in the attached pouch.
